AFA Gels are powerful, yet gentle exfoliants. They’re
also potent antioxidants that result in much less irritation
than other commercially available products. AFA Gels are highly
concentrated -- only a small amount is recommended. Results
are speedy, often seen after just a few applications.
Our Gels are specially-formulated to help improve skin tone,
texture, skin, sun damage and the appearance of enlarged
pores. They’re suitable for all skin types. And they’re
available in three strengths: Gel Mild, Gel Plus and Gel Max.

AFA™ BRIGHTENING GEL For Hyperpigmentation and Age spots
AFA™ Brightening Gel, designed to be used on the
hands, face or body, is a new generation facial brightener which
contains ingredients that work synergistically to target both
the cause and visible effects of hyperpigmentation and age spots.
AFA™ Brightening Gel restores clarity and radiance to uneven
skin tone caused by age spots and pigmentation in a formulation
proven to be effective for all skin types and colors.
Overview of Key Ingredients
AFAs™ are a unique, patented formulation based on the body’s
same natural acidic amino acids which serve to retain moisture
in human skin. AFAs™ contain potent antioxidants and effect
a dynamic improvement in pigmentation by exfoliating the epidermis
without the irritation commonly associated with other acids.
Asafetida is produced by extracting the resin in water and glycols
from the root of the plant, Ferula foetida. Asafetida Extract
exhibits strong in vitro anti-tyrosinase activity, which reduces
or blocks melanin production, resulting in an even skin tone
and helps promote skin lightening.
Cause of Hyperpigmentation
• In the skin (1)melanocytes continuously produce
melanosomes; the (2)melanosomes convert tyrosine to melanin,
giving skin its color. Under the stimulus of hormones, sun,
or irritation, the (3) production of melanosomes increases,
resulting in hyperpigmentation
• Tyrosinase is the enzyme responsible for the initial
conversion steps in the synthesis of melanin
• The most common means of minimizing pigmentation
is to reduce the activity of the enzyme, tyrosinase, which can
be accomplished by blocking the production of the enzyme, inhibiting
tyrosinase activity, or preventing the uptake of tyrosinase
by the melanosomes
• Decreasing the amount of tyrosinase activity present,
or inhibiting the precursory steps, may result in an overall
reduction of melanogenesis
Addressing the Cause
Asafetida inhibits the precursory step, tyrosinase activity,
which is the initial conversion step in the synthesis of melanin,
which presents as hyperpigmentation.
And Effects
The acidic amino acids in the AFA™ formulation exfoliate
the visible signs of hyperpigmentation and restore transparency
to dull, uneven skin tone.

Gentle Cleanser
Our concentrated creamy cleanser with foaming qualities leaves
your skin feeling smooth, clean, and refreshed. Our milky white
non-fragranced cleanser is formulated with AFAs, L-Ascorbic
Acid (Vitamin C), and Dead Sea minerals. The gentle foaming
qualities promote exfoliation, but are gentle enough as to not
dehydrate the skin. This cleanser ideally compliments the effectiveness
of the Home-Care Program and preps the skin for the application
of our Gels.
Our cleanser effectively removes make-up residue, oil, and other
impurities from the skin without stripping the skin from its
natural oils. The pH has been adjusted to match that of the
so that we don’t remove the protective natural oils of
the skin.

This moisturizer is great for everyday use. Our moisturizer
hydrates areas of the face and neck without the greasy feeling
so many moisturizers tend to leave behind. It is ideal for normal
to dry skin types. It is fortified with AFAs, L-Ascorbic acid
(vitamin C), Purines, and Dead Sea minerals.
Our moisturizer is elegantly designed with our formulation that
increases the skins ability to hydrate and rejuvenate aging
skin. It leaves your skin feeling incredibly smooth and silky
all day long.

Our oil-free moisturizer is ideal for patients with oily skin.

moisturizer hydrates as well as provides the skin with additional
anti-oxidant qualities. Our oil-free moisturizer is fortified
with AFAs, L-Ascorbic acid (vitamin C), Purines, and Dead Sea
minerals.
This soothing oil-free moisturizer is more effective than many
other heavier formulations on the market. This is an ideal moisturizer
because of its soothing qualities, light consistency, and its
fast absorption rate.

Advanced Treatment Body Lotion
Our concentrated Advanced Treatment Body Lotion is specifically
formulated to enhance and create longer lasting effects of the
AFA Clay Peel for the Body professional procedure. Our body
lotion is an anti-aging lotion. This lotion should be used on
treatment areas only and is not a general purpose, all over
body lotion. Our luxurious body lotion increases the skins ability
to retain moisture, noticeably firms/tones, and reduces the
appearance of aging skin and sun damaged areas. This treatment
compliments and facilitates the overall outcome with other in-office
treatments such as IPL, microdermabrasion, and other non-ablative
lasers. The Body lotion is fortified with a high concentration
of AFAs, L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), and Dead Sea minerals.

Sunscreen
Our sunscreen provides the skin with SPF 30. Our sunscreen helps
protect the skin from aging and damaging rays. It is specially
formulated with sunscreen agents to help diminish premature
aging caused by prolonged exposure to the UVA/UVB rays of the
sun. Our sunscreen contains a combination of physical and chemical
sunscreens to receive maximum protection from the sun. Physical
sunscreens actually reflect the suns harmful rays and chemical
sunscreens absorb and filter the suns harmful rays.
Our sunscreen is oil, fragrance, and PABA Free.

AFA™ Toner-Mist
Our Toner-Mist is designed to refresh, rejuvenate, and moisturize.
It is great to use during in-office professional/clinical procedures.
Our Toner is alcohol free, non-astringent, and is designed for
all skin types. It is fortified with a combination of AFAs,
L-Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) and Dead Sea minerals, which are
natural moisture retaining agents. Our Toner helps promote hydration
and creates a cool and soothing effect.
Other uses of the Toner-Mist:
• It is used to bring the pH of the
skin back to its normal pH level.
• Set make-up before or after the application
• Creates a soothing and cooling the skin before
or after a facial peel

lift dead skin cells, oils, and other impurities from the skin
that your everyday cleanser does not remove.
